Zone Alarm uninstall

Zone Alarm was causing problems so I did an uninstall. Now when I try to open Internet Explorer - I can't as I get a message from zone alarm (taking up the whole page) the they have detected a problem with installation! I have checked all my folders and files and cannot find zone alarm or vsmon in any of them. PLEASE someone help me!!! Thank you!

 

Uninstalling ZA is complicated. You should follow the official ZA procedure

If it is too late, since you have already done a partial uninstall, perhaps reinstall and then follow ZA's recommended procedure.

P.S. I have understood "they have detected a problem with installation" to mean a problem with installation of ZA. Or did you mean a problem with IE?

 

Internet Explorer is not my home page but I use it when I want to download something to put on desktop. I can't open it now cause of message that I am getting from zone alarm....can't open anything there now
