PhotoImpact problem

Trying to arrange and number digital pictures using PhotoImpact. I can rearrange the order in thumbnail form using Photo Album but this does not change the order in the original file folder. Nor can I find anyway to save the new arrangement other than in thumbnails within the album folder. I can also change the names and number order by switching to Photo Explorer, but the pictures do not show up in the new arrangement obtained with Photo Album. Is there someway I can rearrange the pictures and renumber them in the new arrangement and then either change the original folder or open a new folder?

 

Marvin, You need to rename the files in the original folder either
manually (right click/rename or a slow double left click and edit the name).
If the changes you want to make, can be logically grouped, there are some free batch rename apps available on the net - try
nonags.com for example.
