I have a DVD drive but am unsure how to go about updating the driver for after I upgrade to Windows 10.

    I found this http://www.driverscape.com/download/tsstcorp-cddvdw-sh-s223c-ata-device

I don't know for sure that's the one I need. The version I see listed in the device manager is 6.1.7601.17514 I think the manufacturer is Samsung but I'm not sure.

    This is what Speccy had

    TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223C ATA Device
    Media Type DVD Writer
Name TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223C ATA Device
    Availability Running/Full Power
Capabilities Random Access, Supports Writing, Supports Removable Media
    Read capabilities CD-R, CD-RW, CD-ROM, DVD-RAM, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL
    Write capabilities CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL
Config Manager Error Code Device is working properly
    Config Manager User Config FALSE
    Drive D:
    Media Loaded FALSE
    SCSI Bus 1
    SCSI Logical Unit 0
    SCSI Port 3
    SCSI Target Id 0
    Status OK

There is no need to update the driver - whatever you have installed will work fine. See details of the driver in Win 10 on my PC - it's dated 2006, but works fine. If a later driver is required (unlikely) it will be installed with Win 10.
