I have a tablet with Win 8.1 Full Version.

I have revo uninstaller. Each time I start up the computer, it goes to the darker screen, and asks if it's OK if Revo makes changes to the computer. It's the thing that pops up when you want to install new software.

I've never had this happen each time I start the computer, only when installing new software. What is going on?

    Chris.

Hi happydog500. It could be that Revo Uninstaller is starting up with Windows 8.1 but it needs permission to start with Windows which is why you are getting the UAC popup message.

Please download Autoruns. After you download the zipped folder on your desktop, right click the zipped folder and click Extract All. After the folder has been extracted open the regular folder. Run the autoruns.exe program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator. When you open the program click the Logon Tab and then post a screenshot of all the startup entries in your next reply.

Sorry for the delay, I fell off the face of the earth.

I will do it now and post back. Just to clarify, What I'm talking about is not the program, it's the installer that pops up. I think it's a different problem then the program being in start up.

Can't take a screen shot easy. This tablet is very frustrating. It only works with a stylus.
Seems like it's Samsung's version of Win 8.1. Nothing is in the place it's supposed to be. Keyboard doesn't have a screen shot like a desktop.

When I save it to a thumb drive, to put it on my desktop, I bring it up on my desktop and it's empty. I will keep trying.

What happens when you say YES and allow it to make changes??

Odds are you used Revo and it did make changes.

When it boots up, when it's done, the desktop goes blank for a second, the installer permission comes up. I click yes, let reveo install on the computer and it starts up normally.
It doesn't run the installer, just the first permission and boots normal from then.

Have you been able to take a screenshot of the Autoruns program yet?

Make sure you scroll down on the website. The website will give you step by step instructions for creating a screenshot on both Mac computers and Windows systems.
