Hi I cannot download any PDF files with Acrobat Reader it keeps saying "This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Have looked in the forum and tried all the things suggested i.e. upgraded to Adobe Reader 10.1.3.

I have got installed the Adobe flash player 11 plug in is that the correct one?

    I am on Windows 8.

It did say in one forum I should have 'Active x installed and thought this was covered by the Adobe flash player??? or should I download that as well.

Be grateful of any help as I desperately need to print a file.

To clarify, I believe you mean to say, "Internet Explorer 8 ".

Windows 8 is an operating system.

Yes Tony, Snowdrop has it in her System Details.

Snowdrop, have you tried Foxit for opening PDF files? Neil.
