Can you be a little more specific in what you are trying to do?

    Dear dnmacleod,

    Sorry for my poor information.

I went to Adobe site (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5138) to download "Adobe Reader 10.1 - Multiple Languages ". Finally, a small size Installater came to the Desktop (install_reader10_en_air_mssd_aih.exe 748KB).

I double-clicked it to run. It started to download and installed 10.1 Reader. During the installation, it didn't offer me the option of changing the default installation path to my favorite Drive E. (e:\Program Files\)

Please kindly instruct how can I install Reader to Drive E. Thanks.

    B. rgds,

Go to Downloads - Adobe Reader for Windows and under "Full Download" choose your version for off-line installation. When you have downloaded and extracted the files needed for installation, run the installer. After accepting the license agreement, you will get the opportunity to change the install folder.

Edited: I don't know why the link above doesn't work. Copy/Paste the below into your browser:

    adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Windows

Or better still, dump Adobe Reader altogether & choose an alternative like Foxit, SumatraPDF.

Yes, I know. But suggesting [better] alternatives doesn't hurt.
