I was wondering if it is at all possible to save all individual pages of a pdf document as their own separate image files.
The only thing I know how to do is copy each individual page and paste it in paint and save it as a JPEG. But this will be very tedious as there are a lot of pages and I'm doing it one page at a time.
So if you know of an easier way, please let me know.

    Thanks.

I do it regularly but I'm working with PDF documents created by myself using Acrobat 6 (it's old but works for my needs) and using the same to extract pages.

I have found PDF documents (not created by myself) which are "protected" ... :( ... and you can't do anything with them.

You could try a PDF printer driver, essentially you print the pages into another PDF file.

This looks like it may do as you ask, though I haven't used it.

    Free PDF Printer

The features listed below suggest printing to multiple files from the same print job is possible.

As I said though, I haven't used it but even if you have to print one page at a time it must be quicker than cut'n'pasting to paint.

Let us know how you get on.

I've been using this program for several years. Its free and works very well:

They do install a "print-to-PDF" printer, but they also have a PDF tools that gives you 14-15 different functions, one of which is to split any file, according to the pages you specify. This utility is incredibly handy if you do a lot of work with PDF files.

BTW--in case the current version 9.0 requires a more advanced OS than the one you have, you can find earlier versions (7.0, 8.0, and IIRC even 6.0) floating around the net.

EDIT: I really should look before posting. :) 9.0 can install on Windows 2000 and XP, so you should be good to go.
