I have a Linksys Wireless-G PCI adapter for my PC. Signal strength is low and I am not able to reposition the desktop very much.
I have read many "how-to" articles for building a reflector and USB wifi adapters. Does anyone know if a reflector at the base of my PCI antenna will improve reception?

You can buy an antenna with as much as +10db gain. For that matter, you could buy a Cantenna (directional) and easily get a signal a few hundred yards form your access point. I have no idea about a reflector, but if you're interested I could send you some plans on converting a small satellite TV dish to an antenna that should put you into range when you are kilometers or miles from the access point.
Thanks for the ideas. Where can I buy hi-gain antennas? I am not sure the Cantenna will do the trick. My access point is seperated by a floor and 3 walls of my house.
