Reset/change a WEP key

I have a home wireless net using d-link DI-524 with WDA-1320 adaptors.
Recently I acquired a new(used) desktop that had previously been used
in another network. How can I reset/change the WEP key on the
"new" desktop to match the keys of the other workstations?
All I can see is "wireless network setup wizard" on the XP-Pro
"My Network Places".

Double click the wireless network icon near the clock. Click on "view available wireless networks". Wait for list to refresh or refresh the list. Select your wlan and connect, enter key when requested.

Unfortunately I do not see what you have described. The "new" workstation
has a different key than the other integrated workstations in the WLAN.
I've clicked on about every possible thing I can think of...nothing prompts me to enter a "key". Is my only solution to UNinstall the wireless and re-install it?
Please..I beg of you do not suggest I call D-link support..I'm never sure whether they are in Utah, Uganda, Uruguay or Uzbekistan...

1. rt click My Network Places icon on the Desktop > select Properties.
2. rt click Wireless icon >< select Properties.
3. put checks in both checkboxes at lower part of dialog.

next:
1. double click the Windows wireless icon in System Tray near clock.
2. click View available wireless networks.
3. click Change order of preferred networks.
4. put check at top Let Windows manage wireless..."
5. click OK button.
6. repeat 1-2-3 > select your wlan > press Connect button > enter key when prompted.

If do not get prompted for key and/or if already have a saved key but it is incorrect key, do steps 1-3 and remove your wlan from the list. Then repeat 1-6 again.

note:
Some wireless adapters come with manufacturer connection software that loads when you start Windows. Rule of thumb is let Windows built in wifi software manage the wifi connections. If the manufacturer software loads when starting Windows you can disable it via Start > Run > msconfig > Startup tab. But you will need to know what the actual program file is, Some are obvious, such as abcwlan.exe, etc.
