I have a Gateway laptop, running XP. Worked great. Occasionally would disable my wireless connection as I use my cell phone as a modem when we are traveling, then enable & have no problems.
I disable my wireless and the next morning tried to enable and received the message limited or no connectivity. Tried repair, nothing. The only thing I can remember doing differently was I ran CCleaner (which I have used with great success).
Have an extended warranty with Best Buy, took the computer to them. They sent it off, claimed they replaced/repaired the wireless card.
Still have the same problem. Other than fighting with Best Buy again, can anyone give me any suggestions?

CCleaner offers a "SAVE" option for both cleaning processes (Cleaner and Registry) if you chose to use the option. If you did, restore Cleaner info and try. If no luck, restore Registry info.
