PC and Mac network

I am going to be getting a Mac soon, and want to network it with my PCs. How can I set them up to share resources? I know Mac's can log onto network drives on an NT server. I'm sure it's just a tcp/ip thing. But, lets say I have a Mac printer and want to share it to the pcs...or I want to share files on my Mac with my Win2K machine. How difficult is this?
Better question to ask would be has anyone done this and can they suggest a resource?
Thanks in advance.
Skid

There is a file sharing program called (dave) that lets you share
files between mac and pc.
I used a demo version for awhile, worked pretty good.
It installs on the mac.
Heres a Link.
