My System

Outlook XP and NT4 server with Proxy 2

I am trying to setup a new PC that came with Office XP preinstalled. I was able to setup the exchange mail box for internal email without any problems (Exchange 5.5) but I can not get Outlook to see the external (internet) email servers (POP3 and SMTP). I tried setting up the users account on a different PC that was running OL 2K and everything worked fine. He has all the proper permissions to access the internet. I am baffled. Any ideas? Will OLXP work with our setup?

Is the Winsock Proxy Client (WSP) installed (check control panel)? What errors are you getting?

My System

It was installed, but when I tried to open it (the control panel WSP) I got an error that it was not installed properly. I re-installed it, lo and behold, it works. Thank you!
