Question Dialin problems accessing a server.

Ok

Here is a tricky one!

The user has an NT laptop with dialin access to the
company's network through a RAS server.

The user can dialin and access the company's network with
no problem. Internet access through the company's network
works, access to the NT PDC and shares on the PDC and
other available shares all work.

But, the user cannot access the mailserver, when she tries
to access this server she is told no network path is
found. Yet can ping the mailserver, both by hostname
and ip address.

I have logged on as administrator and when the laptop was
dialled in was still unable to access the mailserver,
although had full access everywhere else.

I have changed the IP address of the workstation. Yet
this has not made any difference.

The Mailserver is an NT server running exchange 5.5 and
the RAS server is an NT box.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

When the user is dialed in, does ipconfig /all show the values it should?
