Trouble connecting from XP to Mac Airport Express

    My WiFi doesn't even see the network (well in range).
    Is there a special setting for seeing a Mac Network?
    Befuddled & Frustrated!

    Nope, there shouldn't be any special setting, but if you don't even see the network, there might be some other issue.

    I just played around with one of these devices yesterday
    Its basically just a wireless router
    Ensure that the beacon is set on
    Ensure that the broadcast frequencies are set to a band that you have reception for - for example if it was set to n only and you had a g card you would not see the signal
    Try netstumbler to see if it sees it
    At the worst reset the router and set it up from scratch / defaults
