    Hi everybody!

    I am having a "huge" problem @ home. I have a Windows SBS 2003 on two computers, Windows XP Pro on 3 and Windows XP Home on 1. All the computers (except Win XP HOME of course!) are connected to a DOMAIN that one of the SBS computers are running.

    My problem is;
    I have a printer on one of the Win XP Pro computers, a Kyocera FS-720 (via USB). It works fine on the computer it is installed on but when I try to connect it on any other computer on the DOMAIN I get this error: 'Unable to add the printer connection...' and some more text.

    - I see the printer in the Directory Listing.
    - I have "Full Control" set for "Everyone" and then each user that will use the printer.

    When I try to open the computer (Start -> Run -> \\computername) I get a user / pass dialog and no matter what I try, I can not log on and see shared folders / files or printers!

    Can someone please help me or point me in the right direction?

    Sincerely,
    Magnus

    Try logging on to the XP PC as the domain admin. Then set up the print share to allow "domain users" full access. Then see if that works.

    An alternative solution is to see if you can access the printer from a server. If you can, set the printer up on the server and share it from there.

    try the program network magic to see if it can set up the printers
    Then you can reverse engineer it backwards.
    At least you know that it can be done
