I have a HP Pavilion Notebook. I recently took it with me on vacation and connected to the internet via the hotel's wireless system. Since I came home, my wireless connection is showing 2 available networks, one just says Linksys and the other is Linksys-_SES_24821. When I am connected to Linksys it says the signal strength is excellent but I am unable to connect to the internet. If I switch to Linskys_SES_24821 it says the signal strength is low or sometimes very low but I am able to connect to the internet. I am not even sure where this Linksys_SES-24821 came from (I never had it before) but I would like to connect to the original Linksys because the signal strength is higher.

If you don't know, Linksys-_SES_24821 is probably from your neighbour. However, you did not metion where linksys come from.

If the linksys is your wireless router, you should have known the password or key.

You can use network cable(RJ-45) to connect your laptop to linksys.

Then open IE, type 192.168.1.1 in address bar.

Then usename is blank, password is admin if you did not change it before.

Then you will find out your linksys's key.
