ive been on and off the site for a while now just for quick information, but now Ive got a problem of my own..

my dad just set up our new computer and its linksys wireless internet. it works fine on this computer, but i cant connect to the internet on my laptop.

the wireless interenet thing connects to the network and has "very good" signal strength but when I open internet explorer it doesnt do anything. it acts as if there is no connection at all.

If anyone could help that would be awesome. Thanks

Do you have the wireless card software installed??

If so...is it showing a connection to the router itself??

Also, if encription has been enabled on the router, you will
need the password or key to access the router.

You also might want to check your device manager to be
sure the drivers are properly loaded for the wireless card.
