I upgraded the firmware on my router today for Security. It changed my WEP to WPA. I had to go through and change the rest of my wireless pcs to WPA.

I have one laptop, Windows XP Home SP 2 that does not have the option to switch to WPA. The only option is WEP or disable.

    Any ideas? :(

The way I understand WPA it's a newer Industrial Strength Wireless Security protocall (256 Bit)

Since it's new why not just stick with WEP?

It works fine with the other computers and print server. I would have to go back and reconfigure those just to appease the one that does not work.

Would a new external card do the trick?

After posting I noticed there is not a slot for an external card on the laptop. I would have to either replace the internal card or go USB.
