I installed a network between notebook XP and desktop ME.
Two ethernet cards and a crossed cable. I want to delete the network form the two PC's.

If you unplug the cable then on the ME PC, delete the network card in device manager and then power down and remove it, you won't have a network.

If the laptop uses a built-in network card you can't totally remove networking from it but if you go into the networking section and disable the network card you will essentially get all the networking stuff out of your way.
