Resolved Win Phone 8.1

    I have just set-up a a Nokia 930 with Win 8.1 Phone installed and notice that I.E. is running in the background. Is there anyway to turn Internet Explorer off, except when I call it up from the desktop, so that I don't get charged for the data connection all the time I have the phone on? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Doc,

    That did the trick. Interestingly, it's a choice of either connected and constantly running in the background or completely disconnected. This works fine for me and I can just reconnect it when I want to go on the internet, which I don't do often from my mobil, but I can see how the modern user's monthly bill gets so out-of-wack.
