What will open a MS Outlook 2002 file?

What program, if any, will open a MS Outlook 2002 file, other than MS Outlook 2002? Also, comments on Open Office would be welcome. I read that OO will open *.docx, from MS Office 2007-8, but nothing that mentions MS Office 2002 files. I am interested in moving to OO even though I am only having trouble with Outlook. Thank you.

You need Outlook 2002 or newer to fully read the mails..

But you can Google: pst file viewer
to find some apps that can help.
