2nd email account will not work in Outlook 2007 running Vista Home Premium

I set up a 2nd email account in Outlook 2007 and I cannot send mail to it. Mail sent to it does not go into my inbox, or my spam folder. I know it's set up correctly because my ISP helped me set it up. Also, I cannot send mail from it. When I start a new email it defaults to the 1st email address, not the new one. How can I send mail to and from this new email account?

When sending new mail, you should see an "accounts" button which will allow you to select which account to use.

Steve's post correctly addresses the question of how to SEND from that account.

As for receiving, what kind of account is this? POP, IMAP, HTTP, etc

Steve, thank you very much. It took me a while to find it because I was looking at the menu bar. But I reread your email and looked in the new email and there it was. I tested it twice and it works.

This is the 2nd time you helped me and I really appreciate your help. I don't remember what the first time was, but in addition to helping me solve the problem, I learned of the online computer dictionary which is very helpful.

Thank you BibO. The account is a Pop 3, and your email made me start thinking; all I had to do was add a "to" column in my inbox -- that solved the real problem which I did not truly explain. I could receive email, I just didn't know who it was for until I opened the email. Between you and Steve I'm in good shape with this second account.
