Unhappy [Outlook 2003: User lost contacts/address book after downgrade from OL2007]

Hi, I'm a problem, i did upgraded a pc from Office 2003 to 2007, later downgraded back to office2003. In both the upgrade and downgrade it used the arabic interface. However when I downgraded back to office 2007; the user lost his contacts. I was not able to view the contacts from the address book. can someone put some light on this issue. I even tried to recreate his profile. But no luck.
