Outlook 2003 on Vista laptop. Unable to set actions.
Hello and good day...
Have a very interesting problem with Outlook 2003 running on a Vista laptop. I have installed Office 2003 after many of the problems that plague Office 2003 under Vista. Everything works fine in ALL applications, except with Outlook 2003.
first, had issues with mapi32.dll... now fixed... the rename the file and Outlook repairs itself fix.
BUT now the rules are an issue.
I can create rules, if I select just tha basics... what I mean is that when I create a rule via the [Advanced Options] -- bottom right of the rules wizard... were you have to select a value such as the colour for the "Flag message with a colored flag" You can not select the colour, the underlined part of the action that you would normally click on, IS NOT UNDERLINED!!!!???? This is true for every action that requires selection. And if I click on NEXT I get a warning box saying "A value in the "Rule description" box has not been set. To set a value, click underlined words in the Rule description area.
