I have just changed from Outlook Express to Outlook 2003 on the same computer, using Windows XP operating environment. The emails and contacts imported perfectly, but auto-complete no longer works. I have used Advanced Email Options to set it to work. Was the auto-complete list in Outlook Express not an nk2 file? How do I get my auto-complete list to import or do I have to start all, over again?

Thanks for the helpful link. Here is their statement with the piece I do not understand underlined: OE does not use a separate autocompletion cache, so there is no file to import. Just import your Contacts from OE. You can populate Outlook's autocompletion cache all at once if you really need to by simply resolving a message to all of your Contacts. (Be careful you don't actually send a message to all of your Contacts).
How do I "resolve" a message without sending it - email systems are not my forte! I tried putting all my contacts in the "To:" box and saving the draft, but that didn't work.
Any hints would be helpful, thanks!

I know next to nothing about Outlook never having used it, but I would suggest this ploy based on OE .....

Add all your contacts to the To: box, disconnect from the internet, 'send' the message - I assume it goes to the Outbox (?) and then delete it from the Outbox.

If that fails to work I'll ask our Outlook guru to advise.
