Outlook Patch problems

In order to hotsync my palm telephone calendar to my outlook calendar I have to install the outlook patch. Problemn is, I don't use outlook as my default email. I use outlook express. Unless outlook is the default mail server, the patch refuses to install. I prefer to keep using outlook express. Anyone know how to install the patch without making outlook the default mail? If I do that, my mail will default to outlook.

Thanks

My System

You might try this .....

IE > Tools > Internet Options > Programs and select Email > Outlook

Install Outlook patch

IE > Tools > Internet Options > Programs and select Email > Outlook Express.

I have moved your thread to the Microsoft Mail forum as this does not seem to be related to W2k.

I couldn't figure out how your thread works. If anyone has direct knowledge of how to solve this problem aside from transferring all my mail folders to Outlook, I would appreciate hearing from you.
