    Another Outlook 2010 problem.

I need to install Outlook 2010 on my work PC. The problem is the said PC (Dell Optiplex GX260) only has a CD Rom. Outlook requires a DVD Rom. I have mapped a drive on another PC that has a DVD rom only to get the message that a network path is not a valid installation. Any ideas or is it go and get a DVD rom and install it? I really need to get this loaded quite quickly.

Try copying the contents of the dvd to a folder on your machine and start the install from there. I've done this many times.

The obvious stares you in the face and you don't see it. That worked a treat.

    Thanks.
