I am using Windows Outlook and Microsoft Vista. My email account is through Earthlink and I use a "mindspring.com ".

I am not receiving emails that my husband is sending from his office email account. It shows as sent from his end and I don't receive anything on my end. It doesn't show up in my junk mail, it is not a blocked account.

I will sometimes receive a random email from him on my blackberry which also receives the home email. It will stop working for a period of time then start again. It has stopped working for the last few weeks and has not resumed. I have tried many things (turning off Norton antivirus, firewall, turning off Carbonite, as well as adjusting and confirming the account settings on my email account), but to no avail.

Any suggestions? Thank you for any help you can provide. AJM

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

What steps have you taken to determine that Earthlink isn't blocking the mail.

I've had a similar problem when sending email from my office cause the @addressname is definantly a company name and can easliy look like it might be spam.

On a related funny note....I have a little text file that I paste into business emails:

I sent it several dozen times for more then a year to finally find out I had done a type-o.

Anyway - does the mail that not make it to - is it a REPLY mail or is it a mail he originated?

It has been a reply, a forward and an original. Doesn't seem to matter. And I have talked to Earthlink online - maybe I should check back with them, though I am not sure what to ask them? So glad someone else has at least experienced this. Thank you for any help! AJM

If you are using Outlook to get your messages, can you actually log on to your Earthlink account on their server and check your mail there. I use Outlook 2007 and have Cox for my email. I log on to Cox regularly to check to see if the have any false positives in the junk mail up there. You might have the same problem.
