When I try to delete an email from the Outlook (2002 SP3) inbox, I get this error message, "You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation."

I can fix this problem for a few days by running ScanPst. Last weekend I ran the "Discard ..." level of Detect and Repair, which I believe must reinstall Outlook over the current version. Today, Friday, the problem has returned.

If these two methods don't permanently fix this problem, will uninstalling Outlook and then reinstalling it from scratch fix this problem??? Is there any guarantee that this method will work for more than a week???

Thanks for your help in advance.

Your version of Outlook has a 2gig limit on the size of the pst file. Might check and see what size yours is.

I try to keep an eye on the size of the Outlook.pst file. It is currently 154,368 kb.
