Outlook 2003 inbox auto delete?

I have three machines with outlook 2003. Two in my office and one at home. One of them in my office (the one my father uses!) has decided to automatically delete all email after he reads it. The messages can be found in the deleted items folder. So it would only make sense to move the messages back to the inbox, right??? Well surprise they dissapear completely! HELP! This is the only machine doing this. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Sincerely, Michael

Same Exact Problem

I have the Same exact problem. When I read a message in the Inbox, it is no longer in the inbox when I close the message. It just started doing this, and I have been digging through options and preferences looking for an answer does anyone know what the process to stop this?

Boy do I feel silly!

OK so sometimes women are worth having around.
My wife was just by my office and found what the problem was.
I have the "view>toolbars>advanced toolbar" open, I like it because it has a "home" button on the left of it so one can get a view of the days activities and emails and such. Anyway in this toolbar is a drop down menu that gives the user the option of changing the window view from inbox to only unread to messages with flags and so on.
It is fixed thank you all.
Sincerely,
Michael
