I don't care what anybody says these viruses are contagious, probably swine flu, mask are going on all my computers. This is an Acer Netbook on Linskys router with DSL. Found viruses during routine maintainance. Had already cleaned and installed WOT before I found viruses.Ran Malwarbytes, had 1 infected file, ran Kaspersky had 16 infected files but could not generate report, ren Dss, will run in order they were run.

* Double-click on drweb-cureit.exe and then click Start. Click OK in a pop-up window allowing Express Scan
o This is a short scan that will scan the files currently running in memory and when something is found, click the Yes button when it asks you if you want to cure it.
* Once the short scan has finished, Click Options > Change settings
* Choose the Scan tab and uncheckHeuristic analysis and click OK
* Back at the main window, select the Complete scan button.
* Then click the Green Arrowhttp://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s...sy69/drweb.jpgStart Scanning button on the right and the scan will start.
o Click Yes to all if it asks if you want to cure/move any file(s).
* When the scan is done...
* In the Dr.Web CureIt menu on top left, click File and choose Save report list.
* Save the DrWeb.csv report to your Desktop.
* Exit Dr.Web Cureit.
* Important! Reboot your computer because it could be possible that files in use will be moved/deleted during reboot.
* After reboot. Leave the Dr. Web CureIt log on the desktop.
Copy and paste that log in the next reply. You can use Notepad to open the DrWeb.cvs report.
NOTE. During the scan a pop-up window will appear, asking you to buy a full version. Simply close the pop-up window.
I am having trouble running this, the short scan went fine w no viruses found and the complete scan ran for a while and then the computer powering down. Every time I have attempted to run again , it has powered off.
I'm not having fun anymore.

Download Security Check from HERE, and save it to your Desktop.
* Double-click SecurityCheck.exe
* Follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
* A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.
I don't think i'm gong to be able anymore on the netbook tonight, it keeps powering off, I'm going to let it cool for a while. This is not an easy computer to work on.
- free Comodo Internet Security (firewall + AV): http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/
NOTE. During installation, Comodo will also allow you to install AV only, or firewall only, if you prefer to combine one Comodo product with some other product.
If you decide to install Avast, or Avira, make sure, Windows firewall is turned on, or use PC Tools Firewall Plus, or Comodo firewall..
If you decide to install Comodo Internet Security, or just Comodo firewall, make sure, Windows firewall is turned off.
IMPORTANT!Make sure, you use only ONE antivirus, and ONE firewall.
After installing, update, run full scan. I don't need any log from it.
When done, try Dr.Web again. Post its log, along with HijackThis log.
I can'i keep it powered on long enough to do anything. I thing I might be in big trouble, this is my husband's and he doesn't see any point in all this maintainance. HELP
It looks like it may be overheating.
If you have a can of compressed air, blow all vents well.
Elevate it on couple of books. Get some house fan blowing at it, and see, if it helps.
I have a laptop fan and I sat it on it and was able to install the AV without any problem. I went to the Webb site and was able to get through the short scan and it powered off. I think it has something to do with this program.
Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.
**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.
Close any open browsers.
Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.
Close any open browsers.
WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts
Please do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection.
Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it will produce a report for you.
Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.
**Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall**
Make sure, you re-enable your security programs, when you're done with Combofix.
