Radio Sound Playing in Speakers whenever on
Ok guys,
So I just recently moved and everything had been fine with my computer for the past 8 months I had it .. however when unhooking up and packing everything up and moving and then putting it all back together, now whenever I turn on my speakers I get the radio playing in the background.
The sound is REAL quiet, but enough sound to be annoying, if you are about 1-2 feet away from it you can hear it and what song is actually being played haha
I have no idea why this is or what program/application/spyware is doing this (assuming it is one of those because I have no other program running or installed to my knowledge that would make this happen)
Here is a hijackthis report I have made for anyone interested.

Thanks in advance.

Also, after taking some time to learn what radio station it was, come to find out it is a local radio station? Any idea what is causing this?

One of my office pc's speaker goes nuts when a co-workers or neighbors Cell Phone rings....It's a gounding/shilded cable or lack there of type issue.
When you moved, did you move to a house or apartment or dorm?

This is also happening to me, I have a simple powered 2.1 speaker kit I bought at my local electronics store about 8 months ago.
It plays our local NPR station at all times when plugged in, I just found this out after a few days of thinking that I was going mad.
I only own one radio, which is usually on this station anyway so I figured it was the cause but changing the station causes no change. I think this is simple electronic interference and the only solution would be to replace the speakers. Tell me if you figure anything out though, as I don't know where to look for information about this.

Are your speakers plugged into a surge protected power source or directly into a wall socket/regular extension cord?

I have seen this sort of problem before.
This occurs if these 2 factors combine - 1) there is some ground fault in the wiring or the live & neutral wires are interchanged 2) there is a radio station in the neighborhood.
Since we can't do anything about (2), I would suggest that you get your mains checked.

My building is an ungrounded knob and tube system.

A knob and tube system consists of two single copper wires, each with a cloth-like insulation, run separately from each other and supported above the surface with an insulator. Comparable to what you would see on power line poles.

Since you don't have a ground wire, I don't see what much can be done.
Maybe a mains isolator of some kind may help, but I am not very sure.
