Help with pop ups in Vista
I installed Vista a few weeks ago and now getting random pop ups from weird sites - I've run the regular spyware programs but they keep popping up. If anyone could pls help me out. Hello and welcome to WindowsBBS Removing Spyware & Viruses forum sorry for the long delay in a reply.VundoFix.exe Double-click *VundoFix.exe* to run it.
Click the *Scan for Vundo* button.
Once it's done scanning, click the *Remove Vundo* button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click *YES*
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click *OK*.
Please post the contents of C:\*vundofix.txt* and a new HiJackThis log.

OK lets get one more Vundo file with the advanced deletion method.Right click in the vundofix white window and click 'Add more files?'
Enter the following file path(s) to be deleted and click the [Add Files] button, then hit the [Close Window] button:C:\Windows\system32\druabkic.dll [Remove Vundo] button and let Vundofix run.

Ok, everything looks good how is the machine performing now??HJT , unrelated to malware.HJT place a check next to the following lines , then, with all browsers and windows closed , hit 'Fix checked' :R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = HJT , if the above are gone, no need to repost with new log.
