If you use Norton's antivirus set iit up to protect home page
Not sure what virus program you use.
But this is a copy and paste from the Symantec website help-you can set up you home page and it will warn you if anything goes to change it
Situation:
You start Internet Explorer (IE) and you see the alert: "Home Page Protection Alert. Norton AntiVirus has blocked an attempt to change your home page to a different address," and you want to know what to do.
Solution:
Symantec Home Page Protection is a feature in Norton AntiVirus that detects when your home page has been changed. Some security risks can change the home page without you knowing it. Or, you may have manually changed your home page. Whatever the reason, Home Page Protection will alert you of the change the next time that you start Internet Explorer.
