Which IE is better /stable , please advise.

    I am helping my uncel to install Windows 2000 Pro from scratch. Now it is patch ed with SP2.

    May I know if I want to upgrade the IE browser from 5.0 to either 5.5 or 6.0, which IE version is more stable or compatible with Windows 2000 Pro ?

    Also should I upgrade from Sp2 to Sp3 as well ?

    Please kindly advise and TIA.

    for production servers, IE 5.5 works best for me.
    for desktop's, I tend to go with the latest browser.
    I would recommend SP3 soon after the install.
