    Hello!
I have a question! I have some problem with my computer. My meny-bar is lost. It's there somewhere (because when I login as another user, it's there) but I don't know how I can show it, the windows-button doesn't work either so I can't access the start-meny at all. I'm using windows 2000 proff.
Im greatful for all the help I can get.

Most likely your task bar has been shruken down. Move your mouse cursor to the bottom of your screen and see if the cursor chnages to an arror pointing up and down. If so, simply hold down your left mouse button and drag the task bar up to it's regulat height.

    Tried that already...

Thank you for your help, but I already tried that... From all sides of the window, but it's not there. Do you have any other suggestions??

Take a look at How to get the taskbar and desktop back and see if that fix will set you right.

If not, the user account may be scrunged up somehow.

Easiest (if you can) would be to remove the user and re-add it.

I haven't done this in a while but I think you can save your settings folders (desktop, favorites, etc) before removing the account and then after you have a new account created, log on as another user /w admin rights and put the saved folders in the new account replacing the blank ones created with the new account.
