Hi-- Running Win2Kpro here and XPpro at work.... I want to copy a TTF font file from the FONTS folder, to another machine which lacks this font. For the life of me, I just CANNOT move or copy or drag this file. Clicking any TTF file just opens it. How can I get a copy? BTW, the other machine is not here, so I will need to move the file on a CD or Email, not across a LAN. TNX! Greg.

Greg Golden--Access your Fonts folder. Now when you highlight a Font you can use Edit|Copy. Paste the copied Font file where you want it.
However, Fonts are tricky things. And especially when you are dealing with different versions of Windows.
The above may or may not work.
Theoretically you can just paste or drag the copied Font into the Font file on the other PC. However, it may be better to use to Install procedure.

Jim- You are right! I tried and tried to right-click the file, but did not get the normal menu by doing that. I tried as you said, pressing Edit>Copy on the menu bar, and THEN I have the ability to copy. Thanks, GG
