Yesterday I uninstalled some programs, and deleted all spy ware and adware from my computer. I restarted it, and now only have the options of 2 or 16 colours and 640x480 screen resolution. Usually we have 250 colours and 800x600. I've been trying to find something to put it back to normal, but I can't, and the help files only do the most basic of things, nothing to do with this.

I really want my computer to go back to normal! Please help if you can!

Have you tried re-installing the video drivers ?

Reads like more than just programs got deleted.

The error I got at startup this time was:

At this time, display properties settings are limited to trouble shooting changes only. The next time you restart your system the display will be set to 640x480x16 color mode, custom refresh rates will be removed, and any secondary displays will be disabled. After you have restarted successfully, you will be able to change your driver or make other settings changes.

Unless someone else has other Ideas about something that I am not aware of, you need to re-install your video drivers. At least I think that is the place to start.
