Mission Statement
WindowsBBS is an online community dedicated to easily accessible technical support for those using Microsoft operating systems and other Windows software.
Our goal is to become the leading resource for computer users that require assistance with their day-to-day computer usage, including full support for networking PC's, virus & malware removal, system upgrades and general support questions.
I am 51, live and (formerly) work in Denver,CO USA. I am an under-employed
IT professional (admin, training, Oracle); well, I am in school for Oracle while I battle the 'few jobs syndrome'.
I originally requested membership because my daughter and I were navigating the stormy water of the XP/Vista transition. The waters are calmer now, but the occasional tough issue still presents itself. And, I can usually assist with common and recurring issues (but I guess the search function will cover most of those).
Anyway, it's nice to 'meet' you all.
