I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit, IE 8 for 64-bit, quad processor and 8GB of memory. Whenever I click on a URL link to bring up a web site, it can take 5 to 8 seconds b4 the page evens starts to initialize. When I first intalled IE 8, it was extremely fast. I frequently run CC cleaner, SpyBot,Spyware Terminator and registry cleaners and virus checks. Any idea's?
    TIA

I suggest you drop IE8 64 bit in favour of the standard 32 bit version - from Windows Secrets ..... .
That may be the source of your problem.
