Question IE8 and cookies

I have a program (CCleaner) to clean out my Internet cache which also allows you to keep cookies you specify. This worked just fine when I had IE7. For some reason IE8 looses these cookies and I have to keep signing in to my preferred websits. I still see the special cookies in the "cookies to keep" section of this program but IE8 seems to ignore them. Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

My System

I can't speak for the behaviour of CCleaner with IE 8 or any other browser, but as far as retained cookies are concerned I use Cookie Monster which works fine with IE 8

An update fixed the problem.

P.S. I had just updated CCleaner a few days ago so I didn't think another update was done so quickly.
