Close or exit all open IE sessions/windows.
Once the programs are installed you may open or start IE again. Both need to modify or add files to IE and cannot do so if IE is open. Once installed, for changes to take effect you need to reopen or restart IE.
This is considered a close and restart of IE.

On a different note: Please edit the tittle of your topic to reflect your problem. This is a board rule and was included in the faq you were required to read prior to joining the board. It makes archive searching more efficient. Naming a topic, in the manner you have chosen, can result in a post lockout or nonresponse to questions asked.
