[Kapersky warnings with IE 7]
i am using internet explorer 7.0.5730.11 and suddenly the kaspersky proactive defenses have been giving pop ups saying that the internet explorer is trying to load or modify modules using different files.wish i could give the log but its beyond the word limit of the post.whenever i open a new tab or go to a site i get the pop ups.the antivirus has not found any trojans but i feel that some intrusion is present.please do help me out.

my other problem is that whenever i visit the site www.playlist.com i get the following message.i have checked the control settings in the internet control panel and downloaded the latest flash but to no avail.

IMPORTANT: you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player.

Both Javascript and a Flash player are required to listen to music playlists.



i hope you wil give me permanent solutiuons to both my problems and ways to prevent it from happening again.

When updating Flash it is essential to uninstall the old version first .....

the response of the site is the same....
i tried all the 3 ways that you mentioned but its still the same.is there any other solutions...?.i thought the site may funtion properly in a different browser but firefox also showed the same notice and i face this problem both in my desktop and laptop.

Hi Luvtorn

I think you should post your Kaspesky log here as it looks a tho it may be blocking a legit program needed by IE7 from running.

You may just need to give it permission to load. You do not necessarily have malware. One of the prompts you are getting may just be permission to load Javascript or Flash or both!

To post a long log try to post the entire log when it fills up then post then just copy from that point on into a new post as many posts as it takes.

For your second problem which may come from your first problem.

First go into Control panel Add/Remove programs and un-install all Java and JRE entries.

Reboot!

Then download and install the following.

http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

Report back there may be additional issues to finish up.

BUT!

In order to help we need details!

I think you need to turn off the "proactive defenses" and test if the issue still exists!

regarding the log
this was the log when i switched on the system.now when ever i leave the system free it keeps giving warnings.can you tell me what is the problem after reading the given log.? is there any problem if i switch the proactive defenses off.won't it affect the overall protection of the system?.today when i used the system it keeps on giving warnings for everything.i tried the system restore but it failed to do so on any given date.

i hope this might help you out.
