When I used PC Pitstop to check out my machine for errors or possible improvements which I could make --- it advised that I am using IE7 with embedded Bsalsa Browser.
I do not recall having made any changes to install this and have been unable to find any way to remove it. I am not sure if it should be there or not. I tried uninstalling IE7 and reverting back to IE6 but it shows there also. Have been able to find the Bsalsa website but it did not offer any help or advice.
    Would appreciate any comments.

    Thank You for your reply.
I do not think I am using any Borland - Delphi products but I can not be sure
since I do not know if one of my programs may be using this software. I have searched all my programs and files and find no reference to either Borland - Delphia - or Bsalsa.
I wonder if this may have been installed by some program which I had installed in the past, which have since been removed. Possibly this could
simply be residual remains from such and instance. My computer seems to be
functiioning well and I do not see any adverse effects --- it still bothers me
that it is embedded in IE 7. It evidently was attached to IE6 and IE7 carried it forward. Thanks again.

It may be a false positive from PC Pitstop.....

Suggest you download Regseeker and search for 'Bsalsa' in the registry and see if it comes up with anything.

Thanks again for your kind response to my problem.

As you suggested I downloaded Regseeker and utilized it
to find all instances of Bsalsa in the registry. It found
two which I proceeded to remove after backing up my system.

I reran the PCPitstop software twice and each time it reported IE7 without the embedded Bsalsa Browser.

I have run several of the more critical applications which I use and they all seem to be working fine.

Again, thank you very much for your help.
