Catharina

The file is from IncrediMail, and you may need something like this utility to decode it:
http://www.mailutilities.com/oeaep/

See if the following help:

OLEXP: Unable to Open EML File Attachments in Outlook Express
(Fixing the EML File Association)

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=312355

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918766

The best thing would be for the sender not to use proprietary email formats for attachments.
I would hate to see you have to install Incredimail to read these files.

Thanks for the reply!

Actually I've tried all of the above (found a free download for IncrediMail), but none of this seems to work. It would be easy if I didn't receive these kind of e-mails, but it's hard to change people's habits apparently.

Still need some help!!!

There are commercial programs to convert Incredimail .EML content for IE, but I really think you need to change the habits of the senders.

The Incredimail format is proprietary. The sender needs to understand how difficult it is to be able to view their content if they do not send plaintext or HTML.

Anyway, use this freeware converter: http://www.jdfsoftware.com/pocofaq/i...ailexport.html
