    Hi.

I need to attach an image as a signature, I can do this. But it needs to be used by a company so they will be wanted to add individual text on each one as it will be used by 10+ machines. Exmaple..

    Addres
    line1
    line2
    line3
    Bla
    TEL: 111
    FAX: 222

    etc etc

If this is possible, how so?

    Thanks
    Callum

    Callum1989 - Welcome to the Board :)

If each of the 10+ PC's has it's own identity in OE you will need, AFAIK to write an individual signature for each identity.

If there is only a single identity covering all PC's I don't think what you want to do is possible.

Hi Callum, you can do what you want with a bit of a workaround, somewhat clumsy by doable.

    1. Create a jpg file with the signature (scan signature into a jpg and reduce to a usable size, approx 200 pixels Wide x 42 Pixels Deep).

    2. Using Notepad create an htm file pointing to the jpg file with the signature.
    Example: file name "signature.htm" with the code: <img src= "C:\My Documents\John\signat.jpg "></img>

    3. In OE Tools>Options>Signatures create new signature, click on the "File" button and browse to the location of the "signature.htm" file you created. Click Apply or OK and Ok you way out. You now have a signature you can insert into e-mails.

    Not done yet!!!:)

You can't put any text into this new signature. You will have to create another new signature with the address, line 1,2 etc. and phone numbers etc. in it.

To use in an e-mail insert the "signature" (htm) first the right underneath insert the signature with the addy and phone numbers. End result will look like one signature.

As I said before a little clumsy but seems to work. Hope this helps.

    See sample attachment.

Edit: Just went back and re-read your posts and see that you want to do this for 10+ machines, agree with PeteC you would have to set up for each user individually. May or may not work.
