Incoming Mail Server gets overwritten

Whenever the system is re-booted the incoming mail server in Outlook Express is changed to 127.0.0.1 instead of ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net and the port number is set to 110 instead of 995. What could cause this weird behavior?

Possibly your antivirus program. Check to see if it's set to monitor your email. If so, set it so it doesn't, reboot and see if your settings change.

Are you not able to receive email with the mail server set to 127.0.0.1? If not, and it is your email program causing it to change, have a look in the help file for your antivirus to see how to set it up properly.

If that's not it, what OS are you using?

You got that right

I had tried disabling the spam killer without success but as you suggested I took the email off the spamkiller listing and that fixed the problem. Thanks a lot !
