Unable to change IE to default browser

    I recently downloaded Foxfire and made it my default browser. Now I want to make IE my default browser. I have unchecked the box in Foxfire to be the default browser and checked the box in IE. But it will not show up as the default browser. what am I doing wrong? Thank you..............Mike

    Since posting,I found a solution to my problem. Went into add/remove programs and opened up set program access and defaults and reset IE as my default browser. Hope this may help someone else...........Mike

    IE to default browser

    Hi,
    thanks for sharing .

    Open IE -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Programs -> check the box (check IE is default browser or not)
    again open IE
    it will ask it to set as default browser or not , then set it.
