    Maximizing Outlook Express E-Mail
When I open my e-mail it opens Maximized--but when I go to click on anything in that e-mail it opens Minimised.

I tried a suggestion I saw on these threads that says to Right Click on the Outlook Express Icon and then go to Properties.
When I do that it says my mail is in the NORMAL opening--when I change it to Maximze and click APPLY or OK --I get a pop up message saying -- "Unable to save changes to 'Launch Outlook Express.Ink---Access is denied.

    Does anybody have any Ideas.

This has happened to me before and all of a sudden it will go back to Maximize or Minimize.

    I am running Windows SE--& IE6

    Thank you:( :(

Right click on the Outlook Express icon, click on Properties, click on the "General" tab. At the bottom under attributes uncheck the "Read Only" and check the "Archive" box. Click "Apply ". You will now be able to change the Run: to Maximize. Change the Attribute back to Read Only and click on OK to close.

Hope this helps. Post back good or bad.:)

    John,
Tried what you said and was able to change the settings to MAXIMIZE and close the the box. I even went and checked it again and it still read MAXIMIZE but when when I went and opened Outlook Express and went to the first message and then click on a URL listed in the message it still did not open in the Maximized position.
I rebooted and still the same problems.

The thing that drives me crazy is that this has happened before for no apparent reason and then cleared up for no apparent reason.

Thank you for your response--any more ideas?

    Paul

    Thank you Kevin--it worked perfect.

When I first read your response I thought you were just making fun not directing me to a URL.

    Thanks once again.
