Archive Outlook express emails

I want to archive my old emails in outlook express.
How do I do that.
I have outlook express ver 6

Open the email, click File and Save as which will give You the normal dialog box.

OE doesn't have an archive function.

You can however create additional folders and drag/move/copy mail to them.

That's what I do. Drag/copy messages to a CD/DVD/Floppy or external drive and then drag/copy them back when needed. Simple and works.

You might also be interested in taking a look at the following freeware program which will allow you to backup your message stores and address book.

w. young--It depends what you mean by archive. If you want to save a message so you can read it, then as has been said, you do File|Save As and save as an .eml file.
If however you want to save for the purpose of transferring to another PC or reinstalling within OE in the event of a mishap, then you have to use a different technique.
I think OEBackup as suggested by Rod will do the second job. The official MS method is
